As a   grandfather, this Post is dedicated to Youth Sports Baseball

As a boy, I remember sitting on a porch with my daddy grand, Hilbert
D. Harris is listening to the radio broadcast of the St. Louis Cardinals 
Play by play with Harry Caray and Gus Mancuso while fanning away
Mosquitos under the night sky.

Baseball was his passion, later, I remember attending a game at 
Clements Field in Hannibal, Missouri, near the Mississippi River
There under the lights watching the Hannibal Cardinals on the beautiful
And seemingly magical green turf an experience of my young life.

Today, little boys and girls have in some cases, the opportunity to be 
Involved in that sport – kicking the earth  from cleats, stepping up to
The plate bat in hand waiting for that first pitch – my grand kids
Among them. This blog is for them and their loved ones
